A little late notice I know but Wayne is doing a talk/digital image show tonight for the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust at St Hugh's Church Hall, Ashby Rd, Scunthorpe at 7.30. On Monday (16th) we are also doing a talk on Sri Lanka at the Scunthorpe Museum again starting at 7.15 all welcome to both talks.

Tonight’s Sky
The sky is so brilliant tonight that we tried a bit of digiscoping - not so easy as everything is moving so fast! so here’s our attempt at the Moon and Jupiter.
Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn – can be seen in early January 2012 and all except Mercury can be seen for part of the night throughout January 2012 - here is Jupiter with three of its moons showing
