Birding and British Road Cycling Championship 2015

Just had a fabulous weekend of birding and cycling - I had a new British tick with a Squacco Heron at Kirkby-on-Bain and Wayne got to talk Strava with fellow cyclists at the British Cycling Championship at Lincoln so happy times all round - took far too many photos to edit so all these are straight off the camera!
Peter Kennaugh won the men's race while Lizzie Armitstead won the womens race. First shot is Mark Cavendish.
Videos to follow shortly…

Woodies Part 3

The previous posts of the garden woodies were taken by snapping some quick digi-scoping shots from within the house through the patio window which resulted in slightly soft focus photos.  Seeing that there was potential to get some even better photos it was time to get a bit more serious and get set up properly with the back door open, but unfortunately so far the weather has not behaved itself with poor lighting most of the time.  Here are some of the results so far but hoping for even better to come so watch this space.
