Bwindi’s Mountain Gorillas

So at last we move to Bwindi Impenetable Forest for the Gorillas - I would love to be able to write this from a personal  point however health restrictions prevent me from doing anything too strenuous and according to Wayne this was the hardest thing he has ever done.  In total he trekked for nearly 8 hours going up and down vertical forested mountain sides - the trackers took until nearly 3.00pm to trace the family.

at last - first sightingIMG_5062 (2)
Wayne had visualised beforehand spending an hour in the company of a large family of Gorillas watching babies play etc but in reality all but the Silver Back and the Black Back went straight to the top of the trees out of view. The hour was then spent watching the two males sleep as they were tired out from a day of fighting - still an experience to be treasured.
