Butterflies at last…

Finally now that schools are back and summer has ended we get a few warm sunny days and the Butterflies can show themselves - our Buddleia is covered in Tortoiseshells, Peacocks, Red Admirals and one Painted Lady. IMG_3656

  1. Your Buddleia is doing well flowering in September!

  2. I'm a huge fan of the Echinacea, butterfly or no. I had a bunch growing on the side of my pond late last summer, still holding onto some vestiges of sunlight in the English drear! The first pond I installed attracted almost no plantlife but the second one from the guys at ukwaterfeatures.com seemed to be a hotspot for frogs, toads and more Echinacea than I could shake a stick at.
