Thanks to the modern intensive farming methods these Grey Partridge along with many other farmland birds have become somewhat of a rarity locally and nationally, so it was nice to have such close prolonged views of this pair even though the male was a little shy.
Very smart birds and pictures. I think there are a few at Dungeness otherwise Grey Partridges are long since gone in this part of Kent.
