Yesterday saw a large influx of Ring Ouzels into the country so having had 4 on the same day last year in the Park I headed in first thing this morning full of expectation and saw precisely nothing! Not deterred we headed up to Bagmoor this evening and immediately had two adult Little Gulls hawking over the lake but they soon headed off North probably to the Humber so we decided to go up there ourselves, Whitton to be precise. The rain continued to pour down so we stayed in the car looking over the marsh and watched in the space of 20 minutes this very wet Short-Eared Owl, 4 Whimbrel, a Stonechat and a fabulous Hen Harrier
