…….meant whilst we sat in the car waiting for the rain to stop Wayne caught a fleeting glimpse of a bird down below the car park and on closer inspection found this beautiful male Redstart. So out the car in the rain watching the Redstart when Wayne shouts again “Osprey” and we were then treated so a five minute display of an Osprey above our heads before it drifted off over Black Walk Nook. It was amazing how many people were coming and going in the car park and no one noticed either bird, I suppose we all get complacent in car parks!
Great find on the Redstart! Always good to find migrant birds yourself - especially in the rain!
