Great Currasow

We were so excited when we saw our first Great Currasows but it was only a quick glimpse as they crossed the road in front of us on the Calakmul approach road, so when we found this male nest building we couldn't believe our luck.

So these images do only show a very obscured bird but they are very secretive birds and it is nestng in deep cover so .......
