Argentina Day 2 Drive from Tucuman to Tafi del Valle

We had an early flight from Buenos Aries to Tucuman in North-West Argentina where we picked up our hire car, a Duster and then headed off on the road.  We headed south for an hour or so before turning off to the right where we began to climb up into the foothills of the Andes entering our first major habitat of the trip, Yungus forest.

The Yungus forest in this area holds a few Argentine endemics such as the Yellow-striped Brushfinch which we managed to find after a little searching but managed to escape the camera lens.  However our main quarry here was not a bird found in the Yungus forest but a bird found on the Rio Los Sosa which flows through the forest, the near endemic Rufous-throated Dipper.
