Another long drive today saw us climbing up into the Los Cardones National Park passing through Cacti fields with a stunning backdrop of snow capped mountains. We climbed up on to the desolate high plateau where we managed to find 2 cracking Tawny-throated Dotterel close to the road side before descending down a meandering road with dozens of hairpin bends and more stunning scenery.
